Italy : The Master Scholarships of Arts in Human Rights and Conflict Management
The Master of Arts in Human Rights and Conflict Management is designed to enable students from different cultures and backgrounds to attain a deep understanding of the linkages between human rights and conflict resolution theory and practice.
Through their coursework, participants in the programme will engage with the major concepts, themes, and debates within international peace and conflict studies, preparing themselves for work with NGOs, governments, aid agencies, the UN and other organizations where a deep understanding of these issues is critical.
EU applicants
Applications for admission by EU citizens shall be sent no later than 17 October 2011.
NON EU applicants
The selection process of non-EU citizens will instead be held in two rounds. The application deadline for the first round of selection of non-EU candidates is set on 1st July 2011, while the application deadline for the second round is set on 16th September 2011.
To avoid overwhelming server traffic generated by the high volume of applications, Non- EU candidates are encouraged to submit their application well before the deadline of each round.
We encourage applicants to apply in the first round, as space in the class may be limited by the second round. In addition, applying in the first round leaves more time for visa procedures. International candidates needing visas will find that applying at a later stage makes the visa application process stressful and increases the chances of having their visas denied.
